Frequently asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. What are the TOP 10 reasons to book MIKE
CHING?
1. LIFELONG EXPERIENCE
Mike has performed Magic
since age 6 and works at entertainment full-time.
(We do this for a LIVING. We HAVE to be good at it.)
2. QUALITY
Our
shows feature a HIGH SKILL LEVEL that is very difficult to find.
The
show is Non-Stop entertainment. There is no "down time" ...
something
is always happening.
3. ORIGINALITY
Mike
is a Top Magic Designer. Performing from such a young age,
the show
has evolved many ORIGINAL Effects & Routines.
In fact, many of
Mike's effects and jokes are SO unique, they are used
by many other
Magicians - in Hawaii, Las Vegas, worldwide!
(We do NOT do copied "David
Copperfield" routines and music.)
4. DELIGHTED AUDIENCES
Want to see your guests having a good time? Our show will have
your crowd laughing and applauding through the ENTIRE performance!
(We taped the show last year and there were more than 140
response points.)
5. RELIABILITY
Always
EARLY and Always ON TIME! We have a PERFECT ATTENDANCE record
and
have NEVER missed a single show we have booked.
(We arrive
2 hours before Showtime to check out the room and get set up.)

I carry with me at all times.
6. VERSATILITY
Our
high-energy show is jam-packed with entertainment, audience-tested,
and is enchanting and memorable for both ADULTS and CHILDREN.
We are also good at personalizing material for a particular audience.
(A frequent comment afterwards is "EVERYONE enjoyed
your Show!".)

10. LOADS OF HUMOR
He is such a funny guy!
Mike is a master at pleasing crowds with comedy ...
He keeps the giggles
going while he wows them with his magic.
BONUS REASON TO
BOOK MIKE CHING:
HE'S AN AWARD-WINNING
CELEBRITY!
*He has won awards in every
Magic or Comedy competition he's ever
entered.
*He has written for TV and Radio
*He
wrote the 1st song
on FRANK DE LIMA'S Hoku-winning
"LOCAL ANESTHESIA" album.
*
He created the Now-Classic "SLO-MOTION
MAGIC" Cane Vanish
act ... complete with a guy in a jogging suit and winged cap ... in
1972 at age 14
(many years before David Copperfield used a version of it
on TV).
This original act of Mike's is now used by magicians
around the world.
Q. Do we need to provide anything for the show?
A. We ask that you provide only a microphone with about 30 feet of
line
(or a good cordless
microphone on a STAND).
I don't use a podium because podiums hide
performers).
You don't need a microphone if the party is 100 people or less.
Everything else we bring with us.
(Some ice water and a chair on the
stage are always welcome.)
Q. Any other Suggestions???
Just these:
1) If you have helium BALLOON decorations on tabletops, please make
sure your audience can see through them to the stage or temporarily
put them
to the side during showtime.
(It will frustrate your audience
if the show is great and they can't see it!)
2) If you use a BOUNCER, please turn it off during the show.
The
noise of the fan and kids playing inside is very distracting.
(Some
bouncers are VERY noisy.)
3) REMIND MUSICIANS or DJs that you are having a Magician also
and that the front 8' X 12' area of the stage (a minimum of 6' X 10')
needs
to be CLEARED of cords and equipment by showtime.
(Otherwise, they may
set up heavy equipment anywhere which makes
the show awkward
and detracts from audience enjoyment of the magic.) |
